I am excited about every request that I receive, but I am specifically looking to take on the projects that allow me to utilize my own style, inspirations and creative input to its fullest.

I only tattoo in my own art and style; while it is very diverse and can accommodate a large array of requests, this is the only way I can ensure the highest quality I can offer. These are some of my frequently asked questions (FAQ ‘s):

How does the booking process work?

Once I receive your initial email, I will review your request and reach back out to start our first discussions on the project, and place you on the waitlist.

Because I only have so many openings in a year, I am restrictive to the the ideas that inspire me the most.

If I am unable to take on your request I will refer you to somebody that may do a certain style better, or have more open availability at Bound By Design.

Once your name comes up, I will reach out with the available dates. If the first set of openings don’t mesh with your schedule, I will reach back out with the next round of openings.

I will typically give a month or more notice once your name comes up in order to book a proper consultation, take your deposit, and set the plans into motion.

Is there a deposit to make an appointment?

Once a concept for your tattoo is agreed upon and appointments are set, a deposit in the amount of $200 will be required.

The deposit will hold your appointments for all following sessions and will be applied to the last session of your tattoo.

Appointments that need to be changed must be done within 48 hours of your appointment or your deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit must then be paid in order to continue.

Your deposit will also be forfeited should you:
• Cancel entirely.
• Not show up.
• Be more than 30 minutes late without prior discussion.
• Cancel or reschedule three times.
• Arrive with poor hygiene.
• Drastic change to the design, or change of idea completely

Your deposit cannot be transferred, and is only applicable towards the project discussed and booked.

Your deposit is NON REFUNDABLE for any reason.

All No-Call No-Shows will be blacklisted!

Are consultations required to book an appointment?

Consultations are required before any project can be properly started.

All consultations will be done in person, or through Zoom and other such mediums.

This is done in order for me to be absolutely sure of the design and overall goal between client and myself are met.

In rare instances, a second consultation may be booked to solidify the design and concepts.and must be discussed and agreed upon at the initial consultation.

Once a design/concept is agreed upon and appointments are set, a deposit in the amount of $200 will be required. The deposit will hold your appointments for all booked appointments.

When can I schedule an appointment?

I tattoo by appointment only and am currently waitlisted 9-12 months in advance. I understand that my booking timeframe may not work for you. If patience is not your virtue, there are many skilled and talented artist that I work with at Bound By Design that may have sooner availabilities.

Once you are added onto my waitlist, I will reach out a month before I have an opening to set up a consultation.

When can I see a drawing of my tattoo?

Due to my hectic schedule I am unable to send pictures of drawings.

You will see your drawing the day of your tattoo appointment, any last minute changes can be done as long as they don’t interfere with the integrity of the design.

If the design needs to be changed completely from what we talked about during the consultation, then a new deposit will need to be paid.

How many sessions are required for a tattoo?

Because much of my focus is on large coverage projects, multiple sessions are often required to complete. You will be required to make numerous appointments, and get tattooed at least once a month, if not more, in order to complete the project in a timely manner.

I typically book in every four week increments.

If too much time lapses between sessions rework, and touch-ups will be required to make the tattoo appear seamless. It can be frustrating when the excitement of a project dwindles due to improper planning. So, with some planning you don’t have to pay extra for rework or touch-ups.

What style of tattoo work do you do?

I focus on large scale decorative tattoos, featuring flowers, leaves, ornaments, animals, skulls, mythological beasts, creatures and gods, anything with natural and beautiful elements. I also love to contrast beauty with darkness.

Tattooing is a collaborative process.

But as an artist, creative freedom is necessary for me to give you the best tattoo possible. The less restrictive you are about your design, size and style, the more it allows me to exercise my abilities as an artist to fulfill our vision.

Do you only do large scale tattoos?

I am not exclusive to large tattoos, and will take on certain smaller projects.
Just know that I do have a three hour minimum, based upon my hourly rate.
Please be as specific as possible in your request for a consultation here »

Will you finish a project started by another artist?

I will not finish projects previously started by others.

In many cases the framework of the existing tattoo is not laid out in a way where I can create my best work.

Do you do cover ups?

I will do cover-ups when that option is available.

In certain cases, multiple consultations are required to ensure a positive result.

Can I bring guests with me to my appointment?

Please regard your appointment as a professional exchange, and keep guests to an absolute minimum. The more I have to pay attention to your kids or friends, the less amount of attention I have to focus on your tattoo.

Will you tattoo minors with consent?

I do not tattoo anybody under the age of eighteen.

No exceptions.

I will do underage consultations and set tattoo appointments for after an eighteenth birthday.
